The Story Behind Volcano Oil®
Volcano Oil® is Maui Excellent’s proprietary essential oil blend, originally formulated by rehabilitation massage therapist Helen Cummings more than 25 years ago for use with her clients as part of massage, body care, and aromatherapy routines.
Inspired by the cooling sensation of mint oils and warming botanical ingredients, Volcano Oil® combines menthol, camphor, peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen, eucalyptus, tea tree, and other essential oils into a uniquely invigorating blend designed for everyday comfort, massage, body care, and aromatherapy.
Today, Volcano Oil® is available in roll-ons, gel, massage/body oil, and bath products, handcrafted in Maui, Hawaii.
How to Use Volcano Oil®
Volcano Oil® is designed to be part of your everyday wellness, body care, and aromatherapy routine. Apply anywhere the body could use a refreshing cooling and warming sensation, whether after long days, physical activity, massage, travel, or moments of everyday tension and overuse.
Many customers enjoy Volcano Oil® as part of massage, stretching, chiropractic care, bodywork, or simple self-care rituals. Apply wherever your body feels tired, overworked, or in need of a little extra comfort.
For a refreshing aromatic experience, apply to temples, neck, chest, or the base of the skull and breathe deeply. Many customers especially enjoy Volcano Oil® during a warm shower or bath, where the refreshing mint and botanical aroma becomes especially invigorating.

• Use before a warm shower or bath to enjoy the refreshing mint aroma as steam enhances the experience.
